Thank you for using Shenzhen Yuliang Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. LED series products, in order to improve your understanding of our company product characteristics, and give you the convenience for mater its use charaters while in the process of using, minimize or avaid the products damage or unmatch because of man-made factors, hereby instruction as belowed: 

1.Material Confirmation 

 Make sure the LED Bin Level is consistent. For example: make sure the Voltage CIE BIN Brightness or other parameters are the same grade. The same grade should be used together. Whether the polarity of the positive and negative is match to the requirement, whether different foot light-emitting is match to the requirement. If different grade LEDs apply to the same product, it should be evaluated its suitability. ( if different voltage BIN use together,the brightness may be different, if different CIE BIN use together, the Color temperature maybe different.)

2.Package storage: avoid moisture entering to the led before open the package, suggest that SMD series are stored in the dry cabinet where built-in desiccant. Storage environment temperature range is 5-30 degrees, humidity no more than 50%. 

3.Preventive measures after open the package. 

 After open the package, make the great effort to do the desiccant measures for the whole tape, desiccant conditions:70degrees drying for 4-12hours. 

 After the material desiccant, it should be used out as soon as possible (within 24 hours). The Remain material has to be sealed or placed in the 10-40 degree, humidity enviornment no more than 30%.

4.Operation Notes                                                                                                   

The product that number of reflow process shall be less than 2times, and after the firt time reflow,shall be cooling to the normal temperature,then can proess reflow the second times, suggust the reflow temperature range is 200-240degree.                                                       

While under the operation process, can not use the hand to touch the material directly, cause the hand has sweat, sweat on the surface of silica gel will cause the light pollution,effect the lightemitting.In addition, the silica gel is relatively soft, hand press will cause disconnection of wire and cause the dead lamp.

It is not recommend that the LED Stick on the curved Circuit Board. Avoid quick cooling during soldering, avoid any mechanical or excessive vibration while in the process of LED Soldering and cooling, after soldering, do  not bend the PCB.

While In the repairing or single LED operating, can not use tweezers to press the surface of silica gel, cause  the silica gel is relatively soft,use the tweezers to press will cause disconnection of wire, destroy the chip, and cause dead lamp. 

While under the abundant of operation, if the suction nozzle measure is smaller than the led inner diameter , the suction nozzel will  press the silica gel , and cause golden wire break, chip being presed and cause dead lamp. 

While Complete the soldering led, it can not do the repair job, if no avoidable, can use double Iron, but it has to confirm after repair whether will damage the LED features or not. 

5.Electrostatic protection                                                                               

LED is an electrostatic sensitive electron device, and it should take all kinds of measures to avoid the static electricity..   

For example: wearing an electrostatic ring while in the process of operation. All of the equipment, instruments should be grounded.

It is recommended that should be tested after assembly the LED Product for to be sure wheather cause the damage from static electricity .

6.Cleaning                                                                                              

It is suggested that using ISO alcohol to clean the LED, if use other solvent to clean, must ensure that the solvent is not affected to the epoxy, silicone, silica gel, and silver layer. Do not recommend to use ultrasonic to clean in case to damage the LED. If unavoidable, please pre-test before clean, to confirm whether will cause the adverse impact or potential risks to the LEDs. 

7.Other Notes                                                                                          

LED may cause colloid yellowing when exposed to sunlight for a long time or occasionally exposed to ultraviolet light.                                                                                       

In order to ensure the LED photoelectric performance, please keep the LED light area surface clean, avoid finger seal or other object cover. 

In the design of the circuit should prevent the stantaneous impact of reverse voltage or excessive current to the LED while under the switch process .  

While using the LED , should avoid use the sharp tools such as tweezers to touch the silica gel part.
